Why join the H.A.M.B I have been a member for 4 years. If you are a real car guy like myself. You probably buy parts from time to time. I have saved more than my cost of membership every year. I also have great feedback from the guys that really know the vendors I tend to deal with. Used parts from other members have also helped a great deal in saving a little cash. So I strongly recommend to join the brotherhood. UGOTPK Alliance Member since 2006. P.S. The rest of you are freeloaders...
Yea yea I'm a free loader. So you saved a ton can ya loan me 50 bucks? Aliance membership is a good idea, I will probably do it again someday but probably for different reasons than the savings; it'll have more to do with having a windfall and extra cash in hand. Its just a damned good idea.
Haven't kept track of how much it has saved me but I buy alot of stuff from HAMB Vendors. The knowledge base here is second to none, and that is more than worth it for the cost of membership.
I would be lying if I said I didn’t do it for the discounts. But I would have to say that all the knowledge, tips, tricks, and advice that I have lurked off this site was worth the $50 to me to keep it going.
I've been an Alliance member since the deal first came out. Five Alliance tags and this summer will make six, all hanging on my bulletin board right next to the computer. It amounts to less than 2 magazine subscriptions a year and if I were a drinking man less than a couple of weeks of watching my money wash down the urinal. This place has more going for it than all of the automotive magazines combined so I'm a winner just on that count. I've yet to buy anything from a Alliance vendor but that will change soon as two projects are getting close to some needed vendor supplied parts. At that point I'll get even more out of my membership. Frank
the way I figure, being a member costs 13.7 cents a day. I can't think of anything else I can do for that price that I will enjoy nearly as much.
Being a "Alliance Member" is good for everyone, helps keep this thing we call H.A.M.B. healthy ! firstnomad www.angelfire.com/jazz/flatlandstudio
The HAMB is a very entertaining way to p*** time and to gain new information, so supporting it is only fair in my opinion. I would belong to the "Alliance" even if I didn't save on the vendor discounts. When I bought tires from Cokers and headers from Gear Drive they both honored the published discounts for Alliance members which more than offset my dues for the membership,so how can you lose?
I just joined a couple of weeks ago. I cannot wait to show the new badge at the Round-up on the 98. Dan
Been an Alliance Member for about 4 years now. My primary reason is to help Ryan with the costs and his time of keeping this site going. I am here every day looking for information, and a few laughs. And I typically get that money back with the vendor discounts. It's a win/win for me.
