I am looking for someone in the Omaha/Lincoln/Northeast Nebraska area that does Chrome painting. I have bumpers that I can't chrome and need to paint. Thanks for any help that can be provided.

J-B Chroming in Aurora, NE, does it...(near Grand Island). I don't have a phone number handy right now...they use the Cosmic Chrome system and it looks very good...ask for Paul...you can use my name as reference...

I saw the cosmic chrome recently and I was pretty impressed, and I hated the idea of it. It doesn't look exactly chrome, but does look more like a a really good polish on aluminum. Definitely closer than any of the horsepoop way before..

Everything I've seen by J-B looks like chrome...it has a reflective qualiity far surpassing polished aluminum...

Ok, so we also saw you in Denver when we were there last year? We were at that cruise night and also went to Pueblo.

Yeah that's kinda what I meant, I meant it to be positive. I still don't think it has that "hard sharp" look like chrome, but it's just way closer than anything else. I was impressed. How does it compare pricewise?

Sounds like it might be just the thing for older gauge trim etc (pre chrome)

What does something like this cost? Like for a set of head lights bezels. Can it be applied to any substrate, i.e. polyester? That seems to be the biggest advantage to me, the fact that I would be able to prep the pieces myself and save on labor charges.

Just looking for someone that is closer to us who does it. Would like to find someone closer than Aurora if possible. We are in far northeast Nebraska.
