gas gauge wiring diagram help

    I'm useing shark gauges and the sending unit came with the set but no instructions, can any body help with just a wiring diagram, I just don't want to blow up when I turn on the key thanks

    The gauge has two leads, one goes to 12 V and the other to the lug on the sending unit. The back of the gauge should be marked.

    and don't forget to ground the sending unit.

    The gauge may even have three leads, + (12v power), S (sender), and a symbol that looks like a uni drill bit (ground)

    Ditto grounding the sending unit. I ran a ground wire from the unit to the frame since the tank is held up with straps and rubber padding. Although I couldn't find a factory ground line I figure the additional line wouldn't hurt.
