This Impala was in a heavy metal music video(escapes me which group and an all that). My friend Marks younger brother, Greg bought it off Epay in the (late?) 90's. Had problems with the bags, so he sold it to help pay for college. Cool to see it again.
last time I saw that white and blue 62 in the first pic it had fell off the trailer and crushed the top..couldn't find the pics though..was a nice ride
it's in Weird Al's "White & Nerdy" video as well. I guess this car turned out to be a music video slut
daaaaaaang thats a sweet wagon!!!!!! I'm working on a '57 210 wagon right now and need some inspiration... any more like this?
thanks for the pic..sure was a nice car..here is some pics of my brothers glasshouse that I used for parts to build another..first pic is before, second pic is after it got hit..I had just done the bodywork and it was ready for paint when this happened a few years ago
This is a very cool thread, gracias !!! I had a '63 Impala & a '64, both were SS's. in 1976. Wish I had my '63. They were not lowriders but they were low enough. I recently found a set of Tru-Spoke rims that i'm going to use on my '63 Chevy II wagon after being inspired by a number of Nor Cal Nova bros, namely, 1badnov's. I'll post photos when I get the tires & wheels on. I'm hoping the Bellflower style will look good. Aloha, Ric
Viejitos RGV Chapter getting ready to roll out this past Saturday in San Antonio, Tx at the 1st Annual All Bombs Picnic.
Its a 4 hour drive so they all towed their rides up to San Antonio for the car show. Thats at the hotel parking lot unloading the cars.
53choptop, your brother's fleet and the black 42 were my favorite cars at the show. RGV Viejitos have some really nice rides.
Yeah the Viejitos RGV chapter has some really cool cars. Its a family thing for all of us, that impala you see in the picture I use to own back in high school, the 53 in my avatar, i have also had since high school, the fleetline my brother has had for several years too, if you can believe it that car use to be a chicken coupe, he brought it back to life. Several of the Viejitos RGV members are brothers and cousins. I am working on getting a chapter up and going here in Austin, unfortunately can't seem to get the bombs out of hiding. I am posibly looking at starting a Viejitos Custom Chapter since Austin is more geared towards customs that lolo's. Hey man whenever you are in Austin, let me know and we can cruize!!
rockets on my rocket. but I sell it. because its so mainstream. fuck I am so gay for having those rockets on my rocket. I already logged off lbcc. Im into audi now
I haven't quite figured out what mine is... Not really a low rider, per say, but certainly low. Picture taken 3/19/11..still dirty from winter storage.
Go to page 1, follow the link in the 1st post. That is where this pic comes from, Howard Gribble's flickr account. There are about half dozen tri5 wagons done up this way. enjoy. Have you left Satan for Jesus? Big no no homie.
Here is my car and my setup. I just finished swapping out the straight 6 for a v8. Went with 2 pumps and 4 dumps. I had lowriders in Hawaii & Cali so hitting the switches is nothing new. I have not decided on wheel choice yet. May just paint these and roll the way it is. Looking forward to the Roundup next weekend.
