---I hope you can make it. Lazze said that he may attend on Sunday, he is going to be tied up with the Pleasenton car show.
One small correction: Cuesta College is NOT on Highway 101. It's on State Highway 1, towards Morro Bay. From Highway 101, take the Highway 1, Santa Rosa Street, Morro Bay, Hearst Castle turnoff, and head west. Cuesta College is on the left, just past Camp San Luis Obispo (National Guard). Wish I had the tools and dexterity to do it
---I am trying to get some of the metal shapers to bring some tools and a project to work on. The college has a shear, break, welders mig & tig, and a lot of table space. They do not have any e-wheels, bags, forming hammers, or any specific metal shaping tools. I am also trying to get some demonstrations or seminars organized. There will be several students and metal shaping novices there that will need some guidance. ---Old Dawg, thanks for the correction. Hope you can stop by and join in on the activities.
---Only three weeks left before the San Luis Obispo meet. This is going to be one of the best metal shaping meets on the west coast this year.
---I have a partial demonstration meet schedule for the SLO/WCMS meet. 1. Blake "red beard" Will do a metal shaping 101 demo. 2. Dan "DanGunit" Will do a demo of his new products. 3. Mark "porkfenders" Will do a demo on metal finishing. 4. Tony "fatfendertruck" Will do a demo on hammer forms. 5. Gale Skinner will do a demo on his forming machine. If anyone else wishes to do a short demo please contact me. I am looking for short simple demos less than an hour. If you have any ideas or suggestions for the meet, please contact me. If anyone that is going to the SLO meet wants to buy some 19 ga drawing quality sheetmetal please contact me this week. I don't know the exact price of the metal, but it is approximantly 90 cents/lb. ---Tony Sanchez 951 679 5978 fatfendertruck@gmail.com <!-- / message --><!-- sig -->
