Just joined as I was given a 55 Plymouth belvedere and not sure what to do with it. I want to make it look period for the late 60s hot rod. I think I have the look nailed just trying to decide on engine combo. Great site my experience is with late 60s mopar muscle cars. Thanks Joe

All great engine choices. Looking to keep it mopar and keep the budget down.

Two years ago my father inlaw was on vacation in the Netherlands on a tour bus saw a nice vintage car show and begged the driver to stop. Didnt happen. Thanks

    Welcome from the valley!

50's mopars have a great look. My g/f (screen name SickGirl on here) has a '55 Dodge Coronet with a 270 poly in it that I help work on from time to time.

What engine does your Belvedere have it in now? The smaller Dodge hemi's (241/270) should bolt right in. And the 315/325 Dodge hemi's should fit, but they don't use the front mount style engine mounts so it might be a little more work. But depending on your plan for the car, the smaller hemi's are plenty fun.

  15. Man, get that thing built and come up to our show. Welcome!!!
