I got a 36 dodge d2 touring sedan. The problem is the po rebuit the wheel cylinders and now i got one rear and one front leaking. I thought he got the correct kit, but i dont know:confused:. I know he said he honed it out. Question is, has anybody with luck replaced the rear wheel cylinders with a different year. I cannot find 36 rear dodge complete rebuilds. I can get a kit but was just wondering if anybody put anything else on. Thanks for the help, i just rebuilt the carb and wanting to drive it safely.:)

they are probably honed to large. send them to White post restoration, they will put s/s sleeves in and will be better than new.

I called White post restoration, 120 for step bore, and 80 straight bore each:eek:. LOL i thought i did good buy buying on that the brakes are new. It goes to show you that you want something done right do it yourself. I guess that is better than paying an insurance deductable. They also want 160 to do a master cyl. So off to the garage to pull the po mistake off , and get it done by a pro.:D
    THANKS HAMBERS

  5. have you checked with Kanter on new wheel and master cylinders?

checking the Raybetsos website i find new front wheel cylinders ....part # WC3595 for front left and WC3596 for front right. new master cylinder #MC544 . sorry , they do not list rear wheel cylinders , only kits

then i checked the o'reilly website and all three part numbers are available. you could try crossing these numbers at Napa , carquest , autozone , etc
