line lock installation

    thinking about a line lock on my car
    should it be installed before or after the residual valve ??
    i have a floor mounted master cylinder
    maybe it doesent matter??

    also who makes the best line lock kit???

    I would think either is fine, because all it does is hold the line pressure till you release it, on the good kit, check with summit, also don't forget to use a fuse in the power wiring.

    my line lock is located within 8 inches of the master. i used summits brand, it was identical to one of the name brand kits and less money. its a simple kit and install. i have a hurst shift handle with the ****on on the side (thumb activated) and ran the wire down the front side of the shifter so its really hard to see. its been on my car for about 10 years and hasnt failed me once.

    I used the Hurst kit, installed on my firewall beside the master cylinder, ditto on the fuse
