    I was reading this and a crack suddenly appeared below my nose that went ear to ear, and an involuntary noise from within erupted into the room. I think my face is broken for the rest of the day. I may have gas too.

  2. Paul, I'm currently in Toronto Canada ***isting a friend, and it snowed about six inches here yesterday. Nothing remarkable about that except it was 75 degrees when I left San Diego last week...but I will be back on the road in a couple of weeks. Thanks for sharing your story and helping me get through this little speedbump...:)

    Paul, your story reminds me of Ryan's thread about going "Past the pipe" or something like that.

    Thanks for your inspiration Paul. My Dad lives 7 hours away, so it's not that easy to just pop in and grab him up. But I'm trying to keep his spirits up after having just lost a second wife by telling him it's never too late to enjoy the road in a cool hot rod. Driving is becoming an issue now that he's in his mid 80's. But in the same way your wife enjoys sharing the ride with you, I want so much to do the same thing with my Poop. Oops, I meant Pop! (I was just thinking of someone with an ipod)

    He's going to be selling his house and moving up my way in the next couple of months and I hope my therapy for a continued happy life works out. It works for you and I, how can we go wrong?

    Thanks again Paul!

    P.S. LOVE those gatling gun pipes!

    Hey Axle, I dig but I love my instrumentals when cruising. For all of you out there that haven't been introduced to the delights of the fabulous Wailers instrumentals;

    Man, think I'm going to go for a drive:cool:

    With apologies to the band Stealers Wheel, paraphrased as follows.

    "Country pub to the left of me, daffodils to my right here I am,
    stuck in the middle with you, stuck in the middle with you". :)

    If you're going to be 'stuck with' anyone in this life, let it be a lady who loves you, and loves what you do.

    Now!

    I gotta say, Paul, you have such a great at***ude on life, you are inspirational. Sunday morning at 2a.m. I am standing in my front yard, cool breeze, lights from town shining in the distance, absolute peace and quite, tranquility at its best. Why am I am standing in my front yard at 2 a.m. in the morning some might ask? When all my kids are gone and I am alone at home I just cant sleep. After my "peaceful moment", all was good and deep sleep soon followed. Those moments in life when your mind has cleared and you ponder how good life really is are priceless.
