Just got done watching Deuce of Spades for the first time. I have to thank Faith Granger and her shipping department for getting the DVD out to me so fast. With the recent re-release of Hot Rod by Henry Gregor Felsen, I'm wondering why the whole series of books hasn't been made into a movie or movies. Many of us were introduced to this hobby by reading Mr. Felsen's books so long ago. I think it would only be natural for somebody like Faith Granger to make these often told stories that are so dear to our hearts into movies. Anyone with me?
It would take someone like faith to do it because all hollywood wants to do anymore is trash all things dear to the rest of us , ie remakes of the Thomas Crown Affair or True Gritt....and of course if they did do it it would be with electric cars,LOL!
I know you are right, really it's kind of sad. I used to sit and wait, hoping they would make an American Graffiti part 3.....I've always wondered if Toad ever got home.
