This is what happens when you mix open wheel and stock car classes

Notice the ripped out rear quarter of the #24 car where the 30's Chev coupe caught it's front tire.

Apparently, the coupe was rebuilt/restored after this crash.

I have been squirreling away 'found' pics for about 8 years. 3 hard drives and 1.5 terabytes worth of (all kinds of) files so far. The biggest problem is grouping them into relevant folders and hosting them up on photobucket without photobucket getting annoyed.

Every time I post a bunch, the 'bucket account registers somewhere around 160,000 views per day and that doesn't make the bucket guys too happy.

Overall, I'd say that I'm getting value for my $3 per month considering that 'bucket is telling me I use
15 or 20 gigabyte of bandwidth a day from all the views garnered on the hamb each time I post.

KFOX had an early history on 1250 Kc.

Both studio and transmitter was at 220 E. Anaheim in Long Beach transmitting at 1000 watts. The Transmitter was on the second floor, and in the 1933 quake the building was partly destroyed. They were on and off air as the quakes would arrive. A blanket had to cover the hi voltage generator to protect from night dampness.
KFOX demise started in 1972 when the new country station in Los Angeles, KLAC fired up their new transmitters.

E.L. Cord's Auburn Fuller Company moved KFVD to the Hal Roach movie studio in February of 1928, It had been located on Venice Beach up until then
