my HAMB shirt caught on fire. cool old roth shirt that was signed got caught in the grinder.
i usually spend a couple hours in the garage in the wee hours of the morning before heading to work... usually in the same clothes i was in the garage with. everyone who knows me knows that i'm a car/motorcycle guy... so the stained jeans aren't questioned while in corporate meetings :)

It's not fibergl***, its POLYSTER, and the holes are not from weldiong but MOTHS.

A dryer strip will confirm this.

any good dress outing still includes working on my car 3 times on the way there :)

plus, my garage is pretty fancy and it's detached from the house so i have to go outside to get there... so it counts as a good dress outing.

Just spray bomb the rusty ah oh ahem the body parts under the hole the same color as the shirt and no one will notice it. :)

Unless you want to play the used car salesman down the street then you just duct tape over the hole and spray bomb it and call it original.

    1. Get a good sharp pair of tin snips

    2. Cut the damaged area out all the way around

    3. Get the wife/girlfriend some good upholstery thread

    4. Let her sew it back together

    5. CUSTOM "SECTIONED" T SHIRT

  16. You guy's are good, hilarious stuff. Anyone ever seen a headliner done out of these cherished relic's? Old wore out shirts with great logo's, with stained, acid burned Levi section's. :D How about it?

    7 parts borax
    5 parts boric acid
    125 parts warm water

Mix thoroughly and soak your shirts (or spray it on them).... Let it dry and wear that ****... Re-treat after washing a few times....

Boric acid is extremely mild and available at drug stores... I heard they used to use it in eyewashes...

Wow! this board never ceases to amaze me. never thought the words ***Gasket and genius would be in the same sentence, but "***Gasket, you're a genius.
Now let's see someone youtube a test run of this treatment.

Ha...my brown 40 ford Jalopyjournal shirt took one for the team too... my batter fell over and got into my fan, when I opened the hood acid sprayed straight up my shirt!!

A few washes later... and it was ready for church!! (Holy)! :D
