I wholeheartedly agree. I love the fact that it's a no filler, all trad., kustom magazine. Something that was sorely lacking before.

the magazine is put out by Luke Karosi from the Road Agents in Ct...check out his website, www.kustomsillustrated.com for ordering info...my opinoin is that this is hands down the best mag out there right now, well put togethor, all kustoms, and heavy on the East Coast stuff, just how i like it...bob

I believe you can order them online frm the hot rod company web site.

  7. Great magazine and Luke is a real nice guy. Luke and his brother Matt are true car guys, too...not some fly-by-nighters tryin to make a quick buck.

Luke is a wicked cool guy, and he told me he's getting more into the rod scene. Has anyone seen the rod mag he came out with?

I've got all of them (even got the T-shirt!) and Luke does a great job on it. I look forward to every issue. I think I need to up my subscription though. I have never seen it at any book store. Issue 1 is sold out, but it pops up on Ebay once in awhile.

Yep. It's just like Kustoms Illustrated, except with hot rods.

By far, one of the best rags on the rack.
I was hooked from the first copy.
No Kustom car guy should be without it.
    Quality.

Totally agree - Luke is doing a great job. I like hot rods just fine, but it is so cool to have a whole magazine with nothing but customs.

In addition, it is cool that it is sort of right-coast oriented, so I get to see alot of cars that I wouldn't normally get to see - like a whole 'nuther world.

    Long live Kustoms Illustrated!

  17. I completely agree! I love this mag so much. I wish they would make it into a full sized deal. The only thing I kind of dislike is that some of the pages are just so crammed with cars, it is hard to make out some of the details. But if it was a full sized mag, I dont think it would be as bad. Hint hint...

Chimes in. I agree, this rag kicks serious booty! No kulture, just cars with some tech.

Oh and the Hot Rod mag he started up rocks just as much.

There are four out so far but you will prob have a hard time finding #1. I had some extra copies but gave all my extras away. Luke has used some pix I took before and has more to use if he wants. Great guy and great magazine, it and Iron(soon to come out from HAMBer RPW) are the only real custom mags.

  23. Yes, KI's an excellent mag. I push it over here via swaps and my website. There's not a lot of kustom guys here, so it's been slow to pick up but, as one of the other guys said above, it's possibly the best little mag out there.....at least kustoms-wise. It's got a real devote following a****st those that do buy it from me........and they're not idiots either, so they know what they're looking at.

It should stay a small zine though.

  28. Well in that case I need to say that Luke is a really, really great guy who really likes Kustoms and his brother is an equally nice guy (and Luke's neighbor) who holds up the Rod side of the family. The Hot Rod Annual was done to get rid of all the rod photos's Luke had gotten and couldn't use in his Kustoms (only) Illustrated mag. I think his bro put him up to it. Working so well that I'm sure we'll se more issues (and probably in less than a year). Did he ever mention that he designs car club plaques on the side? I'll post one if you ask nice:rolleyes:
