I had the same problem Mel had. Calling, emailing, being ignored. Finally got my stuff after about a month.

I got mixed emotions, been fast but also real slow. been cheap and expensive, Been good and bad. But they always made it rite on the end. They probably just did not get tooled up for the pieces you needed as quickly as they had hoped. Anyone that owns a pullmax etc knows you got to brake it down and set it up for all the different panels. I have had a 32 sedan rear piece oredered from another maker for 3 months waiting for him to get tooled up. I aint complaining about it cause he has not charged me yet. Anyhow I quess waht I am saying is they make this stuff when they get a good run of them not on a one piece at a time.

What method did you use to pay in full? If a credit card, put a stop to it and go somewhere else if you can get it faster and better. Why spend 10 times on the phone? It was over a month for a 1 week job. If you need it, tell them to cancel the order and move on. Make sure you've got a good second before you do that, though!

Really nice stuff and priced accordingly (not a knock, just saying that you pay for quality and service). My dad always says "if you don't have something, you can sell it really cheap". I think the coment may apply here. I go the Roothawg method and buy from them at swaps only.

it`s easer to make the **** your self !

and there in Beaumont ! and I can not call them with a straight face?
after that joke where the girl told here Aggie boyfriend to kiss her where it`s hot and nasty !
so he put his pants back on and drove her to Beaumont !

  11. ***UPDATE***

My panels from Howell's arrived on Saturday. Packed very well and look the goods, but I told the guy I wanted to be notified when they were sent. That's my only gripe.....oh, and I haven't been charged yet (dunno if I should be complaining about that!).

Ive said this many times over. I live 5 mins from them. If you are having problems getting them to ship, let me know and I can go in and hopefully help move the shipment along. Yes Hot Rod Artist, I live where its hot and nasty :D

    Also Car-Line is here too....

  13. He is is Arkansas City Kansas. His stuff is the best, it still needs tweaking. We are afterall working with old tin and new stamped patches. When I was at the rod shop I ordered from ALL the manufactures, I would say some of Steeles stuff (69 Elco ff patches, and most of EMS's stuff) was questionable. Those Elco parts looked like they were hammered out by a reject from a Bangladesh wok factory. And I am not exaggerating on that one:eek:

There is a place in Oregon, RealSteel, but damn their fenders are extremely pricey. I think I'd just wait it out and go to swap meets and check in on the 'bay every now and then.

I started using Mac's antique auto resently, great service, fast shipping good quality. Have not bought any patch panels from them but they have a hell of a catalog.
