im not sure on them lincoln wheels,it seems to me if i could make em work it would be kinda nice. i mean, you ant gonna really be able to see em anyway, cuz this things gonna be so low.i wouldnt put the center caps on. but i kinda like steel wheels too...guess i got plenty o' time to figure that out though.for now im gonna start stretching the fenders n figuring out a sub-structure for the fenders n inner wheelwells to attach to.im so stoked on this car right now its all i can think about!

It looks like a charge air cooler, air to air, intercooler, whatever you want to call it. I suspect a turbo set up in the making? Would be my best guess.

thats a turbo innercooled ironhead im buildin, actually have it runnin, had to pull the turbo apart and replace some stuff, should be runnin it in the next couple weeks.
as far as more pics,im postin as many as i can!i'll probably try and get the fenders done in the next couple days, that will definatly make it look alot different...but im pretty stoked on the lines of the roof,i had to quarter it,cuz i hate the look of the a&b pillars getting cut and bent in.i kinda like the angles to look factory,if that makes any sense

[IMG]so today i started sorting through all the stuff i could find that i had for this car, tryin to remember what my plan was,i know the front end shape of these things are pretty damn ugly.i was gonna try and arch the fender tops and lower the headlight buckets.ive made a bunch of metal shaping tools since i last worked on this car, plus ive figured out alot about makin patterns n what-not.i was also gonna re-do the whole grill opening and make it look more like a mouth i guess.

[IMG]so i stretched the rear fender back a few years ago,but im gonna re-do it,and stretch em a little longer,i just cant figure out if i should cut the body away and weld em on and mold it all..seems kinda weird to weld on fenders that originally bolted on.

[IMG]so i was also gonna make a defined radius line on the door, cuz the doors are really flat and boring..like my ex girlfriend?...not funny...ok,so in my head ive decided to split the car into 3 area's front back and sides...brilliant!..im pretty solid on what im gonna do on the front, its alot of shaping, but spare time is free pretty much, the back im gonna figure out after i get the front and sides done.but the sides are some major surgury, but i just dont want the front and back to look killer, and the sides to be plain and boring..ok,now im just talkin in circles..

I love it when someone goes outside the boundries of everyday kustom building and push's it just a little further. I wish you the best of luck my man. A bunch of people are going to tell ya it ain't traditional but just keep doing what you're doing.

Ya might want to rethink those wheels though and it could just be the pictures but Eddie Munsters forehead looks crooked. Best of luck

yeah,im gonna re-do eddie's forehead, this was my first choptop, and ive honed my metal work significantly, not that ive arrived by any stretch,im just way better than i was 5 years ago!..there's for sure gonna be a line between traditional and my pocket book, but im pretty sure im gonna just go with steel wheels with hubcaps of some sort, ive read some arguments on other threads here about wheels.so im gonna tap out on the aluminum wheels right now!just feel free to smack me back in line when my thrifty-ness becomes unbearable! i can usually come up with money if i have to,im just kind of a gearhead hoarder so i hate selling stuff

  30. okay I'll say it out loud and back it up ...the windshield is just "swell " only one like it

for a minute there i thought the whole body pivoted back ... maybe it still could enough controls can be found to do that semi trucks do it..

    rear fenders ?

just make them into skirts and hinge the whole fender up or pivot it

a olds rocket would be okay run what ya got.. a modern buick oval grill opening may work here

those lincoln wheels look good on b***ackwards tooo

    go man go

ask away here we'll tell ya ...comments there cheap

pay no attention to the man behind that curtain .. the great and wonderful oz do your own thing
