I can only say that it looks like a custom piece that is pretty intricate. I'm not a expert by any means but it just doesn't look like a hood ornament that I've even seen on a car or associated with a car company.

Wow, I can't find it anywhere. It is very possible that it is an accessory that was not approved by a manufacturer. So it wouldn't really belong to any make or model. It's a "goddess" which GM was big on, mostly buick. But nothing I can find is a perfect match. Sorry.
thx greasyphil, i have seen two identical one's sell on ebay in the last month so i am hopeful... not really trying to match it to it's original car but want it for my roadster but knowing what its off will help with the hunt.... thx for the info... dave
