here are a few shots from the W.O.W. show in Omaha a couple weekends ago. Most are from the Old School section, hope you all enjoy them. The Omaha Rebels and The MidWest Streetrodders clubs put a ton of effort in this event and the Extreme section made it a fun show. Omaha's own Filter Kings knocked out some great tunes at the event to add to the good time. Midwest Streetrodders provide a great hospitality suite with nice home cooked food, drinks, snacks and dessert treats, thanx troops! ~sololobo~
That looks like it was a good show. I can't believe Omaha is only 2 hours away from Des Moines and it gets that much better of a show. Des Moines W.O.W. sucked!!!!
I am sure a few of the cars will be recognized from H.A.M.B members such as Gary(hotrodroadsters) 40 fresh from a Rod and Custom feature, the 32 in the display is the masterpiece of our pal Gary Mussman(Krylon 32) who owns Cornhusker Rod and Custom, and builder of the last few chassis Gary has used. Nick(Malcolm) jammed to get this new roadster build in the gig and it is ass kickin, You see it paired with Jeff Patchins(hiboy32) 32 classic coupe that he drove to Bonneville last year powered by a flattie and a 3-spd O.D., Rebel's ramrodder Pete Smocks sweet "A" sedan with Caddy power, Pete drives this car and heads up the show trophy effort every year. My South Omaha Turds bros Dick Warsockis(exderelict) black "Hoodlum" speedster and Rob Lees "drive it like ya stole it", LIncoln Y-block powered home built roadster. Roy Kleckner's 35 Ford 1/2 ton haulin his Harley was lookin xlnt, note the Harley Davidson Tailights on the p.u., very cool. Big Todd's taildragger 50's Chevy hartop sporting The Gambino notch looking sinister in black primer. The #30 T-Bird stock car is a replica of a car the local racing family from our area The Kosicki's ran at Talladega in the day. Pioneer rodder Harry Olsen's purple Ford van is spot on, very tasty. Our OutKasts pals Danny Kaven's(Styx) first photo/ cool blue scallops, sweet new Ford powered custom pickup and brother Mike Williams slick "T" bleedin Ford blue as well, two real hot rods. That fab flamed 40 coupe of Dave M's, a MidWest streetrodder who works his butt off at this event is a super sweet flatiie driven beauty. The tri-tone 55 Dodge is property of Greg Rains of The Roadburners and is a slick hardtop that got a lot of attention. The Hemi powered blue 55 Chevy gasser is a tribute to Omaha machine shop rodder Mike Daly who ran some hot stuff at Omaha stips in the past, beautiful car. The 59 Chevy tu-door post was sporting orig paint and serious performance attitude. Some damn sweet bikes and other stuff as you see. ~sololobo~

Great Pics Larry, we (fellow H.A.M.B.er Pieisgood and myself) were there on Saturday. Took a pic of Nicks ride but couldn't find him ... I heard he was sweet talkin' Sonia from Operation Repo !!! Saw one guy who had a H.A.M.B. logo on his ride, when I told him we were H.A.M.B.ers as well he said "So ?", not too friendly I guess !!! Anyhow great show, it is awesome(and intimidating( to see the cars and talent around here !!!
Hey, glad you all liked the low brow pix I snapped. Was sorry to see no one else posted up the show. I talked with Jim A from SoCal Speed Shop and he said the Des Moines show was light on attendance, he said participants were awesome but just light on public participation. The Omaha show had some strong traffic from the public, our super venue helps for sure, plus the show was extremely well run. Really appreciate cool dudes like Jim A out supporting the show world. Was great to see our homegirl Jess at the Speedway display, she is so cute and always a treat to see and talk with. They had a way cool display of the 97 carb they are selling, wish I would have snapped a shot of it. ~sololobo~
