1916 chevy motors-worth anything?

    hey- sorry to bother. A friend of a friend has two chevy 1916 motors and a ******. Supposedly one ran and one was a spare. Are they worth anything? Can't reaaly find much about value.

    Depends on how badly someone else needs them. Check out some boards and clubs that restore them.
     
  3. Its a very narrow market. Not a high volume demand item. Might find somebody that needs it, but might be awhile. I had a teems Chevy front axle, and took about 10 years to find somebody who could use it and outright gave it to them.

    You might pose this question on the vcca website.They can definately give you an idea of their worth.
     
  7. Or Hemings Motor news.

    I'm sure that if someone was building a period 20 or 30s rod they may be of some value as hot rod fodder, otherwise I suppose that a restorer may be the only person interested in one.
