Did you notice that all five of those guys won awards?

That blue shoebox was one of my faves.

That 1st picture is the Ford truck that Little D built. The guy that bought it finished it... Pretty damn cool.

I'm new here so I'll try to not ruffle any feathers, but this is the first subjest I checked out and your all getting my 2 cents... I have alot of friends down in San Diego and that Russ guy is a lame. He's bragged to several of my buddies about building his old shoebox and it turns out someone else chopped it, his friend or cousin painted it, someone else did the interior, someone else striped it. What exactly did he do? That truck is literally the second rod/custom he's ever even owned and I hear he was into fast-and-furious crap before them. Look, no offense but it's fuc**d up for real builders when guys like him come along, get fresh rock-a silly tattoos, pay for a car to be built and then brag about buildin' it. OK, I'm done, feel free to harass me:)

If that guy trailers that thing to Paso he's a bigger poser than I thought! I'll be watching the road for it and hopefully it will have all four wheels on the road. Is he afraid of scratching it or what?? Oh yeah, he pays for the work right:)

Wow , you talk like you met the guy , He helps do whatever he can ,I did all the body work and paint on the shoebox and the truck , The 49 was the first car we ever did , Neither one of us knew how to do anything but we learned ,Isnt that what this is all about ? Where did all the " real builders " start out ? Most builders farm out stuff they cant handle or dont want to mess with , So what we are susposed to just jump in and whack the roof , primer it and throw a blanket in the seat , Guess what , Its going to look like
a total shitbox . But I guess thats the cool thing now right ? Sorry for not being able to jump in and be a real builder like you ? He was out there every night working on these cars right next to me . So you and your friends dont know shit.

    dude ,
in the feature on that car in ck deluxe it talks about who did the work .... he states who all the people were who did things .... that sounds pretty straight up to me ...you sound a bit jealous that he is getting his cars featured in magazines and nobody knows who the fuck you are ....regardless... the truck and the car are bitchin ........

Nate - What's Up, Gregg Here....

I was blown away to see that truck in person, there were alot of bitchin' cars at that show, but knowing the history of that truck simply made it my favorite.

Cut through the crap on this here board and it's a great place to be, historically speaking, the trashsmackers don't stick around very long.

Can't wait to see the Merc and the Zephyr.....
