56/55 ford gassers

    When i was a we tot i remember seeing some cool 55/56 ford g***ers in the car mags. Does anyone have any pics to share? I save these pics for inspiration and refrence when i build my models. Thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    heres my old 55, should have kept this one. It had fibergl*** fenders, 390/c-6,9inch and a econoline straight axle. She would boogie!!

    here's a couple of pics of a killer Ford from the Round Up. Since the HAMB took a dump a week ago, I should have all of the pics I took on my website soon.
     
  7. Here's a Y-block powered one typical of the period. If anybody remembers a '56 Ford g***er named "Sluggo" which was raced by Mize Bros. Garage in the '60s in Western Kentucky (Owensboro/Sturgis) I'd really love to see a pic or have info.

    By the way, why not a Y-block in that Falcon. Hot Rod detailed a nice swap in early 60s.

    A sweet Y-block in my wagon would be so cool and i've thought about it MANY times.
