Joined last week, New to Michigan

I moved to Michigan from Florida in May of 2010 to be near as many dragstrips as possible. I am retired and just want to race and relax,NOT Possible in Florida any more. This probably does not belong here, but since I am "typin" here goes. I just got home from a trip to M***achusets to pick up an older Bantam bodied altered. I am trying to get some History on the car as the person I got it from Had None. It is Candy green With Top Eliminater 1963 and Johns Rod Shop lettered on the back,It was raced in New york, 101" wheelbase,355/glide,Red Maltese cross s***ched in the seat cover,Chrysler 83/4 rear,green shocks and steering dampner.
Hope to meet many of you at the tracks.

Welcome! On behalf of our Florida members sorry to lose you, but it looks like we are gaining at least 2 more HAMB warriors. FYI: There are 2 dragstrips and several round n round race tracks w/in 100 miles of my beautiful, sunny, warm waterfront home.... if any of my fellow HAMB members get down my way let me know.
