Holley Intake Question

Can anyone tell me about this intake? It is a holley contender. I have a 1406 600 cfm edelbrock carb. Will this intake work with this carb? It kinda looks like it is for a quadrajet with the 4 holes. Any info appreciated.

 

a quadrajet is a spread bore carb , that's a square bore intake. i believe the 1406 will bolt up to it

 

The edelbrock 1406 has small venturis in the front and larger bores in the back.

 

well , yeah...slightly smaller up front than back on the 1406. it's still considered a square bore. it's nothing like a spread bore quadrajet

it will bolt up. give it a try

 

Is that not a Small Block Ford ?
