So Im looking into buying a rebuilt Cl***ic Cadillac engine. 1962 390. I know you can pretty much go to any corner and get a Chevy 350, but as for a old Cadillac, its pretty hard to find. I cant find one.

Or does anybody know a place that specializes in cl***ic Cadillac engine rebuilding? Ive searched the internet and cant find anything.

I dont know if I should just go to any machine shop for this one.

    Thanks

I saw a very impressive 331/365 type cad at Jim Correia's shop a short time ago. He is in Hayward. Not to close to LA. But you could work that out. 510-581-8475

And you`ll save a **** load of cash, and,,,, The chicks will dig you :p

As I recall, their was/is a Cadillac only salvage yard on Rte 138 in the Phelan, CA area. Used to take the 138 from Palmdale to Ontario. They should have engines for sale. Sorry, but don't remember the name of the place.
