Radiaor Question

    Looked in the archives and could not find an answer, Can a radiator be turned 90 degrees and still function. The thought is a radiator with side tanks turned 90 so the tanks are now top and bottom. Looking at different radiator for my shroud.

    Yeah, it'll work. The coolant in a modern rad with side tanks, flows from the top/side to the bottom/opposite side. So if you turn it 90 degrees, as long as the cap is still near the top, the coolant will flow about the same.

    P.S. - Of course, be aware if the cap is gonna be obstructed by you grill-shell, doghouse, or other sheetmetal.
