Looked in the archives and could not find an answer, Can a radiator be turned 90 degrees and still function. The thought is a radiator with side tanks turned 90 so the tanks are now top and bottom. Looking at different radiator for my shroud. Thank You for the help.
Yeah, it'll work. The coolant in a modern rad with side tanks, flows from the top/side to the bottom/opposite side. So if you turn it 90 degrees, as long as the cap is still near the top, the coolant will flow about the same. P.S. - Of course, be aware if the cap is gonna be obstructed by you grill-shell, doghouse, or other sheetmetal.
