Not goin to roundup

Well folks the devil(AT&T) did it again they denied my Saturday of for round up I'm new so I don't have a time off yet so this year I will miss the best show in Texas just thought I'd share that thanks devil(AT&T)

Worked for at&t for 15 years then laid off, that kind of stuff happened alot while I was there. Glad I'm not there now.

 

Just be happy you have a job, theres a ton of people out there right now that dont.

 

Hang tough and take care of your family, more Round Ups to come. I am very disapointed to say I can't go this year because of a very annoying and painful case of the shingles, anyone who has had the smallpox retains this virus in your body and it pops out later in life and is a nerve root issue that gets your attention with itching, burning, stabbing pains. It is a M.F., so get a vaccine for it if you are a little older to help prevent. On the soap box against this evil invader. Just try and enjoy the show for the posts of the event here on the forum. ~sololobo~

 

Man , having shingles is bad, I had it a couple years ago. Lasted about a month. Just have to push through it.

 

Just pretend you live outer the country, like a whole truck load of us, and enjoy the pics that the good folk here post up.

 

When I call in sick, my doctor always recommends getting plenty of fresh air and sunshine.

Yup... I had to cancel my plans and couldn't go either. Trying to be responsible. I'll just have to aim for next year now.....

 

Well I think I'd just quit my job.

The round up will probably happen again next year put in for your time now so the fellas with seniority don't get the best of you.

If its any consolation I'm not going to be there either. Not because I have a job but because I don't.

 

Better to be employed right now. LSR will be there next year. I keep telling myself that.

 

It won't help much but most of us older guys have been in the same shoes more than once. Even in my job I put in for special vacation time several months in advance to make sure that I can get it.

As soon as the schedule for Roundup is up for next year turn in a vacation request for next year. When they ask why you asked for it so far in advance tell them that it is a special event and you want to ***ure that you will have the day off next year as you couldn't get it even without pay this year.
