    One of the things I always like looking at these pictures is the mechanics wearing ties. An old friend of mine's dad was a plumber starting in the 30s. Always did residential work. If you didn't look respectable (tie,hat, and clean shaven) you wouldn't get p*** the front door. Times have indeed changed...............

    I keep hearing radio ads for a plumbing company where the guarantee their plumbers don't smell like B. O. Man times have changed huh?

    All of these photographs are taken in the North West vicinity of Washington D C . I sure would love to have better coordinates so perhaps I could do a , "Then an Now series of shots . I used to live in NW at one time . scrubba
