I`m still in shock! This has tugged at my heart all day today... we`ve lost a great person in this tragedy, and it`s just not fair. Mike said it better than I ever could.

I`ve visited with Luke several times, and I knew from the first time we met at Jay`s HAMB BQ, that he was a good man..

I guess God has a better plan. I`m glad I got to meet him.

I didn't know Luke but from the posting he must have been a good person. Thanks Kenny for posting this.............it must have been hard to do. It's times like this that one is tempted to question God's wisdom for taking one so young but it's also times like this that makes us stronger in our faith knowing God never makes a mistake. For those that are born again into his kingdom we rest ***ured we will see him again one day. My sincere condolenses to his wife, children and friends. Keep him in your minds and hearts and he will never be far from you. Prayers going up in his behalf.

My son said the coolest thing was that Nate and Luke got to race at the HAMB drags. We went last year and watched. It really was great. Sure, they didn't tear up the strip, but the race was real and they had a blast. Their families and parents were there to see it too.

It was a beautiful service, and a perfect tribute. What no one pointed out yet is that Nate and Zach took off in the 53 but ran out of gas shortly down the road! I think Luke had a hand in that! :)

He will be missed. Really tough. Cherish each day and live it to the fullest!

i do not believe i ever met this man, but it seems many of my friends DID know him and knew him well... i am a lesser man for not knowing such a person, and the world is a lesser place without him.

my prayers and thoughts go out to the family.

I didn't know Luke, but after reading through this read... I am inspired to give my condolences to his Friends, Family and everyone who has ever lost someone dear to there heart. Sometimes the Hamb seems full of drama, sometimes full of great builds and inspiration. Either way I feel it is a great family we have here and I feel blessed to be a part of it...
I hope Luke can rest a little easier with all our great words.

Deepest condolences to his family and friends, I don't think we ever personally met... if we did it was in p***ing. But my heart breaks none the less.
