Alright guys, Im putting together a 28 model a sedan. 2X3 frame with a big block chevy. I have split model a wishbones on a model a axle with 1940 spindles. I am going to magnaflux everything before use. Is any of this severely unsafe? Ive talked to a couple of jokers that said its a death sentence to run model A bones. What do you think? Thanks
Why are you taking advice from jokers? As long as your ch***is fabrication is up to snuff you'll be fine.
Ignore Chicken Little, Al Gore, and the like. Listen only to people with real world experience, and the voices in your head.
I have about 40 customers running them, I'm running them, and so's my brother. Oh wait, so's my uncle. I hope we're not all doomed.
I tend to agree with the m***es here...BUT I'd like to actually SEE what your doing before I commit! LoL Got pics???
If your unsure why dont you by the speedway china steel ones ,You know how good the china steel is,When was the last time you heard of those breaking ,If you want strength 36 and up..........
My old T with the 348 (1st gen BBC) has A bones. The only drawback is they are shorter than other bones. Material thickness is similar to later FRONT bones. Now A REAR bones are another matter, they are rolled sheetmetal not real strong.
