First I'd like to say hello to everyone. I've been browsing this site for a long time now, and finally joined. I have been in the car thing all of my life, special thanks to my Dad (R.I.P.) He was in a very serious accident back in Feb. 2009 that took his life in Aug. 2009. Anyway I inherited his vast collection of hot rod stuff and projects. I am currently working on making room in his shop, so I can enjoy working on these projects without being cramped. The pride and joy is the '35 Dodge coupe aptly named the "Haynesville Hoodlum" Some of you may have known him as Hotrodphantom or Imhomerlee. I tried to search the site for any of his posts, to no avail. One day soon I am going to rebuild an engine for one of his projects named the "Rackin' Frackin' Xpress" which is I think a '27 Dodge roadster. This one I want to sell eventually due to lack of space. I have some pics posted here.. https://picasaweb.google.com/106058240177273265630/DropBox?authkey=Gv1sRgCJuZuIzTr7m42gE# It had a pretty strong 360 mopar that he removed a few years ago and was going to install a 340 mopar I believe in its place. The block and heads have already been machined and all of the parts are there, I just need to get off my rump and build this engine. I look forward to hearing from all you guys out there that may read this post and especially those that knew of my Dad. Thanks all Scot

Wow I can't believe just how big this site is and how fast a post gets buried deep within, real deep. That just goes to show how many diehard gearheads such as myself are present and accounted for. I really appreciate all here and I live, no this is in my blood to keep doing what we do best and enjoy what we have. So come on guys let me know who's out there and what your cruizin' in or what your buildin'! Scot
Thank you for the warm welcome Oliver Bros Garage. Torque Fest looks like soooo much fun! Please post pics for those who cannot make it that far. Scot
You Dad made no posts under his Hotrodphantom screen name Here is a link to his profile page http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/member.php?u=3504 Also, there is no one signed up under the screen name Imhomerlee My condolences to you and your family.
Thanks hotrodladycrusr, I found his profile page a while back and realized he had spaced between Hotrod and Phantom. He is definitely missed but he is always with me. Even after 1 1/2 years it is still hard but we keep our heads up and keep on keeping on. Thank you so much for the post. Scot
