There was a similar thread here a few weeks ago, but I didn't have these in the computer, yet. The Capri Bowl is an hour north of Joplin, MO. The Capri Motel is 30m south of Joplin. Porky's Diner (Des Moines, IA) had the coolest cruise nights you ever saw 'till a regional grocery store chain felt the need to tear it down. Three years later, they've built nothing there. Therapy has not helped.

Took a nice 150 mile jaunt today and p***ed Lake Delta outside Rome, NY. The dam impounding the lake was constructed originally to provide water for regulating the level of the Erie C****. It been Rebuit a couple times since the 1830's, but probably not since the early 1900's. The wrought iron bridge that p***es over the sluceway's outlet looks like it was a 1920's deal, erector set built in Ohio.
