54 belair question...

    i have 54 belair im working on....i also have a late 80`s chev 350 ide like to use in place of the 6cyl...

    question is will the late V8 bolt to the 54 powerglide?

    no,not directly, and i'm not sure if they make an adapter.

    That late 80's belly ****on motor should have had a 200R4 or 700-4R bolted to it from the factory. I'd go with that if it's available to you.

    One of the club members has a 56 Chevy station wagon. Had a 350, pulled it and put in a straight six. The car gets much more "traffic" now. Everybody has a SBC!

    in my opinion nothing wrong with the six... or the v8.
