shoebox rearside glass removal..

Has anyone ever taken out the divider between the rear side gl*** and the little vent window. and replaced with one piece gl***? ive been looking around for a one piece seal to make it a fixed gl*** window with one piece gl***. i don't want it too be windable just a static window. is there such a thing as universal seal that is a strip that is cut to length and glued in place?

im getting ready to do this to mine but im going to leave mine operational there is a guy on here who did it to his making it stationary gl*** i think he did a post about it maybe do a search?

someone told me you could use a vw beetle fixed quarter window seal. haven't tried it yet but it looks like it would work. good luck.

 

Dave Paras (Gl***guy) talked me through it, but I havent actually done it yet. Post some pics when I do.
