Generally I don't get to concerned with someones lot in life. I figure that's they way it goes. But when a guy gets down on his luck through no fault of his own, that's when I have to remind myself I have it pretty good and sometimes the other guy needs a hand.

A guy on the HAMB and on another board is in that boat so some guys chipped in and helped with some parts so he can keep his car and maybe get it on the road soon. I sent a PM to the Porter muffler guys and asked if I could get a pair of Porters sent to him and pick up the cost if maybe (pretty please???) could I get them for cost. Porter sent them and wont take a penny!!!! how good is that?

SUPPORT PORTER - they are the real deal

Thats really cool. I was trying to decide whether to go with Smithys or Porters, the extra cost was making me hesitate, but I think that just made up my mind. Porters it is!

I just used my first set of Porter mufflers last week.Good website, super fast shipping, and a real nice American product. What else do you need?

  14. Yup, my next set will be porters also. It is refreshing to hear of these things instead of all the negative **** with so many of the companies. Porter is a cl*** act IMO.

Thanks for all the kind words Fellas! We appreciate it. We are car people and we care about you guys. Without your purchases, we wouldn't have made this comeback. These mufflers deserve the praise they are getting. We can say that because we didn't design them. The Porter Bros. knew what they were doing back in the 1930's. They developed a product that has stood the test of time. I'm just Happy they were so well received when I decided to bring them back to life after my Dad had the rights to them, but didn't advertise them when he had them. We sure hope the guy who we are helping likes them too!
