I've been searching all morning and can't seem to find, but I'm sure is out there somewhere for building your own progessive linkage setups. Its not that I'm to cheap to buy a setup just enjoy building my own when I can. I'm using the rochesters on my setup. Thanks for the help

  2. I started with a speedway kit and ended up replacing the ends with hardware store stuff. I also had to lengthen the rod.
This is the only pic I have right now.

Here's a photo of one that I have. Maybe this will help.

I love this one. I bet most people don't get it. I love the use of original automotive linkage and not a "kit".

By not using heavy heims, the carbs get less wear.

Thats a great set-up. very clean. Did it come in a kit and then you adapt it to your ride or did you piece it together?

That looks great, that almost makes me want to use my 94's. I like very much how you have it set up to run the throttle cable and the ****** cable very clean setup. Hope mine turns out that nice.

Thanks Ironhill and Total Performance, it was built by a friend of mine, the throttle/trans cable bracket is also home built because I couldn't find anybody that made a 3x2 Stromberg bracket that worked with a 700R-4. If you check out the Stromberg website it may show a new product that Clive has introduced which is a progressive linkage kit that looks real similar to what we did. Had to tweak it a bit, but in the end it looks and works well. Jim M.

That's right up my alley....something I would have done. Bend it over my knee and get out the welder.

Finally got my progressive throttle linkage done, except for a little t*******, polishing and fine tuning. It works great, nice and smooth. Thanks everyone for your input it helped me out and gave me some great ideas.
