I don't really post much since I really only have late model stuff (as of right now), but I thought I would share. Also I'm no photog (if you couldn't tell). If you look close you'll see I caught a couple of you HAMBers out there. This was one of my favorites cause of the flatty and bass boat paint interior. These next two had turbo'd LSX swaps in them.
Thanks, we like them. The wagon is a junk yard car that John saved Jan. 3, 2009. and drove it to the round up 3 months later with a 5.3 LS and air ride. (along with a TON of other stuff) That year I drove my 59 Galaxie
I was at the dyno tune on Wedneaday in Ft. Worth when the GTO blew out the tail section on the tranny. Glad to see he got it on the road & to the Round Up. I missed it this year after 4 in a row. I'll be back next year
Thanks for posting the pictures! I especially like to the one that shows the "multitude of dead bugs" plastered to the front of the radiator... true badge of a rodder who drives his HOT ROD.
I noticed the paint on it from a ways off. Went over to check it out and saw the LSX swap, then I noticed the snail. Both of y'alls rides are A+ man. What do they put down? Trailers be damned!
That wasn't a good night for me at all if you couldn't tell haha. But I was able to get it towed home and put in the garage. I tore it down that night and got a new tail section and drive shaft the next day and then had the exhaust done on Thursday. Couldn't give up the round up just because of some disaster on Tuesday night
The GTO made 535/558 on 8 lbs and the wagon made 553/585 on 5.5 lbs. We have the exact same set up except for the cam. We think he has a good low boost cam am mines more of a high boost cam( and he has an aluminum 6l block while I have an iron block )
Awesome #'s. I had a 72 Charger that I wanted to do an LSX swap on for the longest time. Work and other projects kept in languishing in the garage so I finally gave up and sold it after five years.
