54 chevy seat

hello , again , say would anyone know if a 1956 belair split bench front seat mount in a 1954 belair 2 dr. Sedan? That is without cutting anything out ??

 

its probably different bro, because a lot of the 54 parts are way different that the tri-five years

 

A tape measure would tell ya, They sell em at Lowes...

 

I have heard that they will because the floors are actually really close to being the same, and the type of mounts they use are the same as well. The real difference is the seat trim options around the lower part of the seat. My nieghbor has put in a couple different year buick seats in his 52 buick and those seats will fit in the chevy. So you could try buick seats too.

57 bench will fit a 50 good. Just a bit tight at the doors.

 

thanks boys , i could weld bosses to mount the seats , but i really just wanted to see if they were a fit , i looked at a sweet set to put in temporarily , while i get stocks recovered , i need a set to cruise with while interior is in process of being done . Thanks
