Ok,this may be a dumb question, but i'll ask it anyway...

was there a difference in the width of the dash on the 49-50 dodge cars, versus the 51-52 style?

I was kicking around the idea of using an older "flat" style dash in my '51,and using a set of different gauges in a custom gauge panel. I got a dash frame from a 49 or 50 Plymouth last weekend, but what i REALLY should have done was bring a tape measure with me to the JY,because the Plymouth dash is a good 5" too narrow on each end .

    NSF,

The 49-50 dash and the 51-52 dash are the same width !

The 49 dash has black back ground gages and the 50 has green back ground gages !

    Good Luck,
    Sonny
