    Hi all,
Well ive purchased this ch***is....... z'd and set up for a buggy style rear spring with a model A front crossmember (i think).
It apparently came from the USA but i dont know who built it (anyone recognise the style ?) The plan is for a "modern" live axle with a spring fitted above or behind but what type of rear "buggy" spring should i be looking for ? all the rear springs ive seen are high arch type and as such look far too tall.

Use a '40 rear spring with ladder bars.

Ok, well as i mentioned above i contacted Riley Automotive about the ch***is i have as recommended by Satnssho4 and i got a reply from a very hepfull guy called Eric. He identified the ch***is as one of theirs and has gone into great detail about the components that the ch***is has been designed around. This has been a great help and Eric even mailed me some pictures of different details on a rolling ch***is. I mentioned some shipping labels that were still on the ch***is and using these Eric has traced the ch***is back in their records and told me when it was first built ! All in all im well impressed with this company, and highly recommend their services. Thanks Eric and also thanks to the people who replied above.

It's also just like So-Cal uses on their ch***is. In fact I thought it was one of thiers until Eric chimed in.
