That's gonna be one hell of a ride. Too bad you don't see this kind of cars more often in Belgium. I'll be following this thread.
    Good luck!

She's gettin close! just needs the louvered hood done and prepped for paint and the visor. Then it's off to paint! For any of you guys in the southeast I highly recommend Moore's Hotrods! quality metal and body work, hard to tell in the pics but this body is slick!
Check out the earlier posts in this thread for details on the mild body mods.

  8. What a knockout, one of my dream cars, 51, no-waiting(4-drs), perfect stance, awesome. I am so happy for you and see a lot of great cruzin in this beauty, thanx for sharing this rig with us. ~sololobo~

  9. When it comes to a 4dr,I like the '51 Merc, best, cause of the back window. What color are you going with? Maybe I missed that.

''' Nice!!!!! It's coming right along

  12. The painter of my flames, offered to shoot clear over the whole car, after the flames were done, and I told him no. What a mistake!!! I should have done it. Suede paint sucks!(IMO). The shiney paint is so much easier to take care of. A little "Quick-detailer",wipe,and you done. I have to work on the stains and shit,BEFORE,I can wipe it down.
I really liked the color scheme that was on my son's Shoebox. Black with Candy gold flames, red pinstripes. It's the one that GassersGarage has now. Just a thought....

  26. Why a black headliner? White will make the inside feel bigger. Also stands out better, with a black car.

I agree with ya Bad Bob but all in all look Great Sonny....enjoy Bro

  28. The reason I say that is because,I have been in cars with black headliners and it feels like you are in a closet....Too dark. White headliner just looks better on a Custom. Mine will be all white.
