I have collected a bunch of pictures of the old early 60s style headers because that is where I started and I really like the look. So much so that I made my own old style headers for my 56 Ford

I'm **** about it I know but I hate to see modern block hugger headers on an otherwise period piece.

Really nice work fabuthis, I guess you tack all the header pipes first, then seperate them, fully weld and then re***emble, but how do you stop them moving all over the place with the heat? I'm trying to run the back half of my 'zorst in stainless, it's a long process, and i can really appreciate your workmanship. Almost got it tacked together the other night, then decided i might want the car lower in the future, so i'm gonna have to raise the trunk floor and redo the kickup over the axle! one step forward..two back.

I remember when Nads posted that he had paid $500 for dual exhaust and asked, "Wasnt that a good deal?"
    Ummm, No.
I collect free tubing and make my exhaust systems for the cost of the oxygen/acetylene.
These tail pipes for my 1960 Ford pickup were heat exchangers.
    Heres before and after
