Went up to Cleveland today to the 49th Choppers Rod n Custom ***oc. show. The weather was the best it's been in over three years. I met and talked alot with Littleman (Dave). His truck is most impressive! And he's a great guy ! Without sounding gay! His buddy's roadster was awesome too. This is put on at a Buick dealer so the spacing inside is tight. I know from having cars there the past two years. Because of the great weather, there were several cars parked out around the dealer too. Here's what I got before my batteries went dead
The Chopper show was great, the Cleveland Chopper guys where all great and super kool. Met 201, great guy and met Grumpy and his family, they are a true hotrod family, good people, thanks all for stopping by !!!!! The red roadster is one of by buddies, it was his fathers back in 67, he found it and re did it, hell the paint was still wet when he loaded it for the show. It is 99% all old parts, and built to the old photos as best as possible. It is as tall as my truck and he looks like a gorrilla behind the wheel, but I fit perfect in it ! Like my truck it was built in a very short period to make the show. We still have a few things to re do on the front end, some of it was temp. just to get it to the show but does run and drive..........Littleman
The red 30-31 hi-boy sure looks traditional.........from back in the day when the cops wanted to throw your *** in jail for driving a car with no fenders! I guess they are too busy drawing outlines of bodies with chalk now to screw with us now! ....... Times are good......And that red rdstr. is really nice!
I wish my batteries hadn't died! Plus I still don't know why random pics showed up in my post! Can anyone else see them or is it just me? One of a pinstriper, a bike, and several of a flat-blue Kustom!? Oh well. Great to meet you too Dave! I'm out
