I know this isnt a big deal but im just to excited. Ive been waiting for this day for a long long time and have been saving for it seems like forever. But i finally found a good deal on a huffer that i could afford. Picked up this complete kit for 1800 . Im gonna knock the 660 center squirts off in favor of some more street friendly vintage carter AFB"S but thats no big deal , just gonna polish her up a little more and get it cleaned up while i save up to finish my engine.

Hey Thanks guys . Who knew so much insperation could be packed into a 100 pounds of aluminum ha ha ha. Spent some time thisafternoon on the front porch rubbing on it after work .......... Then i quit staring at the blower and started to polish it some ha ha ha.

    Haha. NICE. I hear ya.

When I bought my blower and injection it sat in the living room so I could stare at it.

What make is the blower? BDS?

Seriously! Topping that 408 off with a blower is perfect, sounds like fun.

THe blower is acutally a gmc . I think it will work alot better with the rest of the car instead of an aftermarket case . The scoop says BDS but i can take the bds off of it.

The only markings i can find on it are the gm c case number up underneath it . Then ontop right behind the back set of carb plate holes is " 10 27 x& " not sure what those are , then underneath it on the mounting surface very tiny i can make out " WTR" the wtr was deffinatly done by hand , looks like with a screwdriver , the letters are very small but i can make them out. There is no name that i can find on the front or rear plate.

It came with absolutley everything , i have all the gaskets "some in triplicate" all new in the packages , along with all the linkage , two crank pulleys , the crank hub . Pretty much everything needed to bolt on and run.

New house decor for the modern hotrodder family! Don't you love it. I like to put odd stuff in the house to see if friends and family will comment on it, and they do. That would be an awesome addition to anyone's decor. Please do a video when you fire up the 408. I love to hear them whine. Too bad we don't have smellavision yet so we could huff the racing fuel:eek:. Congrats too.
