  1. righto, stumbled across this site last night when i had a mega brainstorm for a rod project...

im paul, from the west coast of new zealand...yup way down below the equator!! they call australia down under, and we are down under them:rolleyes:

    so way down under...

anyway ive been having big urges to get into rodding..my first employer had a 38 chev sedan, with a 3" chop and the fenders(we call them guards) were widened 3", rolling on 17" boyds and running a 454 bb bored to 460 running twin 750 dp's.....

he got me to give him a hand when he worked on it quite a bit, we made a new exhaust from 3" driveshaft tubes, turned out real nice too...

so ive got my eye on an old beast, something like 28 dodge fast four or a 28 plymouth...gotta be pre 40 for sure..
but down here the likes of any chevs/fords are way too expensive...
my dream car would be a 34 ford sedan...

id hate to say it but id even consider an es*** sedan:D

  8. well just a bit of an update...
my current toy has just been towed down the drive on its way to a new home..
so yup, that means i have a wad of cash burning a m***ive hole in my back pocket..

i do however have my eye on a few "projects".
2 of them look like they are in real good shape, minimal rust and pretty much complete..
couple of vital things for being roadworthy over here..
