Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Mongo, Apr 10, 2005.

  1. I posted a few pics a while back but all I had were shots of the frame and bed.We have now picked up the whole thing. Wow did we get a good deal.Springer should be cruisen in style in no time. We paid $ 800 for everything except the second set of doors, those were another $100.The guy through in a bunch of box's of parts for the truck including trim rings , dash parts, flywheel, a**** other things. We got a turbo 350 ****** with a shift kit along with two cases of ****** fluid and info on the shop that built it.We have all of the main body parts except the grill. That does'nt really matter since we are using a different one any way.We have the gl*** for it too.
The only things we did'nt get were the engine, seat, drive shaft, grill, and a few minor parts.

  2. pic of the truck

  3. the trailer load, the running boards are very nice.

  4. some under the hood body parts.

  5. the fenders

  6. fenders part deux

  7. rear fender. This one is really nice but I think the other will have to be replaced.

  8. inner fenders

  9. The hood, it only has one very small dent.

  10. behind the seat gas tank

  11. ******, and it came with a 2800 stall converter.

  12. We also have a whole other pile of parts in the garage of misc. suspension and stearing parts, two 50 Chevy colums, two tilt colums, a tailgate, and a bunch of other stuff I can't remember. We also picked up a new two speed wiper motor.

  13. when we are done it should look something like this, with a 3" chop and a shortend bed.

Good Score! I've had my eye out for a P/U like that for a couple of months. Everything I've looked at was nowhere nearas nice or complete.

I'll have to thank Pinball for this great find. A guy he works with and a friend of his each built trucks similar to this one. Between on guys ba*****t and the others back yard and garage they had a lot of spare parts. I can't believe that thease were the parts that they did'nt use. The only thing we got that we will have to replace is one rear fender. Every thing else is ready to bolt on.
