I'm trying to find some info on my dads' 36 Chevy Pickup he built in the early 80's. He built it from the ground up, which are some of my fondest memories. It took him three years to complete, but once finished, hard times forced him to let it go. It damn near killed him, but he always did whatever it took for my mom and us kids. He actually got it in paint a few weeks before it sold....for the amount of 3500 bucks (give or take)....which someone would have to remember gettng a steal like that. First guy came out and didn't even want to here it run, bought it. This was in 1985 I think. Anyway, here I am at years later, and just want to know whatever became of the truck that etched some of the greatest memories and stories into my dad and my lives. It had the original inline, had black/red tuck n roll, and was painted Coca Cola Red. One day I would like to have that truck in my hands, until then, I would just like to see where shes been over the last 26 years.
Nothing? I was hoping somebody may know something. The last my dad knew was that it was owned by a guy In Oakwood, Ohio around 1990. If HAMBERS don't know where it may be, I'm S.O.L. on this search, haha.
It looks familar and remember seeing a red 36 back in the early 90s at a show on Dog leg road but never seen it since.
Thanks junkyard Jeff. I just hope it didn't get hacked up into something dumb to follow a trend. That was a nice truck.
It could be sitting in a garge around here collecting dust,if you have the serial number you might be able to do some searching.
