I am going to be in Thompson for the Gasser Reunion the same weekend, I really liked the show last year.

I've been a GM man all my life and only owned a '71 LTD w/390. That car was very decent and fast, believe it or not. However, I've always wanted an early sixties Falcon since, as a child, I saw one, on trailer, going to the dragstrip in Wichita, Kansas. That was in the sixties and that car was fully load, as this one is, and jet black with huge slicks and gasser setup. I've had my eyes on a convertable for sometime but I have to decide between it and a '50 Ford for my next project.

Your car is exactly what I've been dreaming about. Great job my friend!

Don't forget to stick a picture on the never-ending "Falcons done right" thread.... that thing is killer.

Excellent! It was a nice car before, but I like it lettered even more! The hood change is also very nice!

Perfect. It will be great when you have the lettering done by hand, though. The vinyl shop can make a stencil sheet as well, using friskit paper, and it's be a cinch for the guy with the brush to make it perfect.
Congrats on one of the most period correct looking gasser I've ever seen. I absolutely love it!

This has always been one of my favorite cars on here ... I love it.
Makes me want to build some kind of tribute to my grandfathers old shop.

  20. Here was a tribute I did a few years back to my Uncle Jims sinclair station and his Dragin Dino race team of the 60s all hand painted..
