Now that you are well rested from the Round Up and thinking to yourself what to do this weekend in Austin... Well Spring Cleaning of course! Bring out your wares to peddle to your friends as well buy from your peers... Deals to make and be had!

If you could reply to this post letting us know if you plan on vending. It would be greatly appreciated as to better set up tomorrow, as we are moving to the opposite end of the parking lot this time around.

    Cheers, ASM

Thanks to both vendors, and patrons alike... Though a bit smaller than our first Meet. Great deals and hard to find items saw the light of day for new owners! Thanks again for the support... This is your Meet as much as it is ours... We need your help to get the word out, its only as big as we make it to be... Till next month... keep spreading the good news, and digging through fields and barns!

I drove 4 friggin hours for this swap meet! I dont think I can come every month, but I did score some cool parts and some garage wall art. It was cool to finally meet Freeland and TexasHardcore, and Ryan please dont ban me from the site for holding that VW sign in the pic! haha! Thanks guys for what you do, I am sure alot of work goes into putting this on just to help out fellow hot rodders!

Oh yeah, I snapped this photo of Freeland leaving the swap meet! I guess we know what he would do for a Klondike bar! HAHA, man whats up with all the Donk or Dork cars in Austin?

Man, I wish I could've been there, but I took my g/f to her first NASCAR race (yee ha!) this weekend and we were just too exhausted when we got home on Sunday afternoon. :( Next time I'll be there for sure!

Sucks, about the drive! Dont give up on us just yet... we are still in our infancy and on the heels of the Round Up that wore us all out! Which might of had something to do with the numbers of Vendors this time around... Glad you did score something... Next time have a few on me in the VFWs kantine...

Thanks to everyone who came out and supported the swap meet, we appreciate it. There were some great deals, major steals, and everyone who I spoke to was happy to be there despite the low turnout.

Robleticia, thanks for you guys making such a long haul to make it out, sorry it wasn't as big as it should have been. Guess the locals were sleeping in yesterday. Let's just hope the next one gets bigger and we can continue to make this happen for everyone.

Regardless of the size I appreciate you guys putting it on. It may have been small but we all bought parts, had a good time and ate some good mexican food in Austin.
A day hanging out with my buddies, Robleticia, JRacer and JMD82 is always good, doesnt get much better than that!

I think were going to give it a rest for a little while. There's just not enough people showing up to support our efforts. We need more folks out to buy and sell, and I don't think that it will get any better during these hot summer months. We'll work out the plan for the next one and information will be on the facebook page as well as here on the HAMB. We're not giving up, just taking a break for a little bit to regroup and come up with a new plan.

  23. Any plans for 2012? Spring is here!

  24. I don't want to thread jack, there is a swap meet in New Braunfels in April.

We haven't talked about having another swap meet in quite a while. The two of us who put this thing on both have been really busy and with all the other local events going on it's hard to nail down a date. Hopefully we'll pick it back up again, but I don't know when. If we get it going again, we'll post the details here and on the facebook page.
