I lost my 19 yr old nephew fri,4-8-11 in a tragic one car crash , Him and his dad had just returned from celebrating his dads 50th birthday. Brandon dropped his dad at home and went to get gas ,ran off the road hit a pole and was thrown from the car ,not wearing seat belts ,and never regained conciousness.. His name was brandon Talbert and he loved cars in general and old cars especially. He was a great kid , Just graduated high school last year , We were all very proud of Brandon . This sucks, what a senseless waste . He worked with me in our family bussiness , and was like the son I never had. He died on his dads 50th birthday , how do you ever get over that. My sis and I lost our dad when I was 17 and she was 12 .now she has lost here only child at 19 his b-day was 3-26 just turned 19, how do you heal from this. . Anyway I am sorry for rambleing on Just hurting so much Please keep our family in your prayers. Thanks Tommy

There are no words that can make the pain go away. I hope you and your family can take some comfort in knowing that people care , and that you will be in our thoughts and prayers.

    Sorry for the loss.
You never get over a tragedy like this, but it is easier if you dwell on the good memories rather than the loss of potential of a life lost so young.

Sorry to hear it man, only time eases the pain of loosing someone that close. Sad to see one that is so obviously headed in the right direction go.
Maybe donate a perpetual trophy to a local run in his Honor? I'd be willing to put up some $$.

    Doc.

I'm so sorry to hear that. From my own experience it isn't something that you can deal with easily. Take one day at a time and it's ok when you find yourself turning around to say something to him and he isn't there.

On the 21st it will be 22 years since I was told that my oldest son had died in an accident just a month after his 19th birthday. Your nephew sounds like he was very much like John was in a lot of ways.

Sorry to hear. I usually stay away from reading this type of thread because I never know what to say. Not trying to hijack thread but after almost losing my son 2 weeks ago I see things differantly. Life does deal use some bad cards from time to time and tests us to the maxamium.

I know the pain you are feeling, we lost our granddaughter three years ago. These tragic events make no sense in our lives, only Our Lord knows why this life was cut short. My prayers go out to you and your family.

Prayers sent. I can hear your pain while reading these words. Remember your Sis needs you right now and I know you need her. The ones closest to you are the same ones that help with the healing. Healing takes time but it does happen.
