I threw some krylon at my pickup just to get it all one color. Turned out ok. Looks great from far away or at night when you can't see the shitty bodywork.

I got my hardware back from being polished and got most of that earlier posted chrome mounted. I need more stuff chromed still. I'll include the starter, fuel pump, exhaust manifolds, valve covers, intake and valley pan. So not much more to go but money.

***I desperately need a generator mounting bracket and adjustment bracket!!! If you can help, give a holler!***

Terd please put that pic on the window cruisin thread. Truck looks cool. Krylon rattle cans? I used them for my flames and it actually went on nice and it was only about 50*F in the garage.

  4. Terd, you know how I feel about the paint, Love it!!

As for the brackets, C&D. I told you once already, son!

Funny you should ask, haha! I am dropping off my starter, fuel pump, and exhaust manifolds today for chroming. I'll also be dropping off the valve covers and intake to be polished. I had wanted those chromed but the chromer convinced me it would be hard to throw chrome in all the nooks and crannies of the intake.

He'll tell me a week but it'll probably take three. Then my engine will be totally done and ready to start the swap!!!

How is it that you have so much money for Chrome? I can't keep up with you dude. Now it's going to take me another 3-5 weeks to save to get my manifolds and generator done which means no '35 for Steel In Motion. Oh well, it'll get there.

I can't wait to see your shit dude. It's going to be pretty spectacular and will compliment the rust...I mean gold ....I mean purple paint on your truck homie!

Thanks! Negative on the flipped axle. I'm using 4" dropped monoleaves along with 2" dropped shackles in the rear.

Chrome should be back soon and the engine will be finished and ready for the swap.

Super Smooth, Terd.... Which krylon is that, specifically? I've seen certain flats and satins, sometimes grouped in "camoflage" sets, etc-so I imagine there's a few different versions of the metalics...
