After searching and searching for a restored Model A, I came across this fine example last week. After trying and trying to contact the seller all weekend I finally got through to him today. A deal was struck and I found myself finding backroads home since the freeway just ain't the place for a car like this. Plans right now are to drive the hell out of it!!! Needs new tires, these are pretty dry rotted, and the radiator needs boiled out or replaced (had to drive partway home with no hood) but other than that it's pretty much a turn key car. Enough blabbering, here's the pics!!

Haha, patience.... I've only had it a few hours! But it is still hoodless and I took my daughter for ice cream in it. Enjoy it first as it was, then make it my own.

Yeah I agree, as much as I love hot rods, that is way nice. I'd leave it as is. Great thing to pass down to your daughter when she's older.

Thanks guys! The banger is staying, but may add some sort of overdrive later just to make it more road friendly. I do want to drive the wheels off of it! I've cleaned out the engine compartment, and interior. I have a wiring short that drains my battery and noticed this harness is botched together so I have a new cloth wire harness on it's way to me and this weekend I am going to flush the radiator and replace the hoses.

  25. Nice car and what's wrong with it like now.
I have a 31 coupe that is a stock as a rock and i leave it like that plus it saves me time that i can spend on my other cars/hotrods that are rusted and not driveable.:D

Thanks! The drive home from Visalia was fun, and the gentleman I bought it off of is such a wonderful guy. I stopped by AAA and got it all tagged up and legit yesterday, now I can't wait to get home from work so I can drive it!!!!! :D

I'm planning on making the trek to Eagle Field in May.... The car does great around town but I need to build my confidence on isolated back roads. And at 40/45 mph it's gonna be a loooong (FUN) drive!!!

  28. I put 3.54 gears in mine ('31 RDPU) to make it more road friendly. Works great.
